When you go to a town to conduct 'Jesus Calls Good News Meetings' nearly half-a-million people throng the ground. I come there, lay My hand and heal the sick. But after that, you don't go to that place again. Some times you go there only after 5 or 6 years. Till then where will those people experience My healing power? God desires that we praise Him all the time, in every situation and everywhere because it pleases Him to come down into our midst and enable us to experience Him much more closer. We are the ones benefitting by praising God, because praise opens way for God's presence into our lives.<br /><br />With all of the challenges and difficulties that we face each day, it may not look so easy to praise God in every situation. But, our loving heavenly father desires to be our helper in even the smallest thing we do if we allow Him to. Have you ever gone through the bitter times with your close friends forsaking and betraying you? I wish you wouldn't!<br /><br />Jesus Christ celebrated Passover with His disciples on the night He was betrayed. He broke bread and gave it to them saying, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them saying, ‘Drink all of you this; for this is my blood of the New Testament which is shed for you and for the remission of the sins” (1 Corinthians 1:26).<br /><br />Time was soon passing by and He knew that within a couple of hours He would be betrayed by His disciple Judas. Jesus then secluded with three of His disciples into the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. There He told them to keep watch and pray. He foreknew the pain, agony and humiliation that He would suffer for mankind and travailed in prayer saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." In His agony, His sweat became great drops of blood and fell to the ground. He sought strength in prayer before the ordeal to the cross could begin. He was disappointed when His disciples failed to keep watch and pray.<br /><br />Many years ago, emperor Napoleon was captured by the English and put in solitary confinement in a small island. In course of time his body began to show signs of gradual swelling up. He complained of this to his supervisor saying, “Officer, I have an inkling that someone is trying to kill me by administering poison in my food! Please help me!” A doctor was asked to probe into the matter who after examination, recorded his medical opinion that no one was mixing poison in his food. But, there was indeed a person who mixed small doses of poison with Napoleon’s food! Fully aware of the fact that he was being poisoned to death, Napoleon died shedding tears and lamenting, "Alas! They are poisoning me to death! There is no one to save me!”<br /><br />Beloved! Unlike Napoleon, Jesus Christ did not suffer in vain. He drew strength from prayer which enabled Him to endure the sufferings for mankind. Always submit to God and draw strength from prayer to victoriously overcome your problems in life.<br /><br /><b>Prayer: <br /><br />Loving Lord Jesus,<br /><br />Thank You for the Word. Lord, as You submitted to God and drew strength from prayer, help me to be like You. I thank You that I am made righteous by Your grace. The Bible clearly tells us that while they were fasting and worshipping the Holy Spirit himself called out Barnabas and Saul for carrying God’s word to the places around. With the assurance of God’s call, both set out from Antioch and proceeded towards Seleucia and then to Cyprus and reached Salamis.<br /><br />While the two were ministering in Salamis, from nowhere a third person joins their team whose name is ‘John Mark’ and Bible says that he was their helper. It’s definitely very appreciative of John Mark to willingly help them in their ministry. From Salamis they moved to Paphos and interestingly John Mark was still following them and helping them all along. In v13 there is a twist in the story when they reached Pamphylia, John Mark left them and returned to Jerusalem.<br /><br />If you notice carefully, John Mark is talked about only in two verses; when he enters the scene and the next time when he abandons the ministry. It’s evident how when the spirit of God is not involved in the calling for ministry, people easily waver. But Paul and Barnabas continued to work their vision for the Lord in the places where they travelled.<br /><br />Two chapters later, in Acts 15:36, we see how Paul wanted to go back to each of the places they had visited earlier to encourage the believers. Accordingly when they reached Antioch, they met John Mark again. Something peculiar happened here…Barnabas, who was chosen by the spirit of God, insisted on taking John Mark again with them. But Paul who had witnessed his lack of commitment in Pamphylia, objected. A disgraceful event took place when there arose a sharp disagreement between Paul and Barnabas and they split!<br /><br />Could you believe, two people called out by the spirit of God and who had been together ministering all the while, separating because of a deceiver like John Mark? I am surprised about the decision of Barnabas to support John Mark though he forsook them in between. The reason is Barnabas was influenced by John Mark for some reason. Instead of waiting on the Spirit of God whether to involve John Mark or not, he wanted him at any cost. Hence their ministry split. Paul chose Silas and Barnabas chose John Mark.<br /><br />It’s pathetic to know that Barnabas and John Mark didn’t make any impact later. In fact there’s nothing that the Bible talks about their ministry ever again. But on the other hand Paul and Silas shook the places where they went and thousands were added to the church.<br /><br />Today message is: John Marks are all out there in the world. We never know how they come and how they disappear. But they certainly influence us in the little while they are. We may later dare to argue with God for their sake … yes, John Marks like comfort, pride, laziness, sensuality and what not. They just rub gently and disappear and before we could realize we are already deep down there.<br /><br />What or Who is your John Mark today? If you examine yourself you may be surprised about how many John Marks that have blinded you from your real vision. Chuck the John Marks out in the name of Jesus and head straight towards your destiny in Christ and be a History maker!<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Lord Jesus, please remove any hindrances that may come in between in my race towards my goal. Help me to obey your words and work according to Your will alone. Born on July 1, 1935, he had a very tough life being torn by the ailments of poverty and agony of unemployment. <p class="contents"> Unable to bear the agony of these problems, on February 11, 1955, Dr.D.G.S.Dhinakaran decided to put an end to his life. He started towards the nearest railway track in his village to throw himself before the speeding train when he was stopped by his uncle who introduced Jesus Christ. His mind was transformed and he returned home enlightened. </p> <p class="contents"> After this incident, things started happening in him supernaturally. There arose an unquenchable thirst in him to spend hours together poring over the life-transforming pages of eternal Truth - The Bible, discovering secrets that could revolutionize human life. After an exacting day in the bank, he returned home at 9.30 in the night. Supper over, he joined the family prayers. He longed to have a glimpse of blessed vision of Jesus. The very next moment, a divine presence appeared in front of him! He was thrown into an ecstasy of joy. The Lord opened His eyes and with a radiant face, addressed him with a smile: </p> <p class="contents"> "My beloved son! I am Christ! Because you have been seeking Me diligently, I have come seeking you Myself, to bless you". </p> <p class="contents"> Yes! For three full hours he saw Lord Jesus face to face. It is the desire of God that we should live a holy life than we desiring to be holy. That is why He has sent the Eternal Spirit (Holy Spirit) Who enables us to live a pure and holy life in this wicked world. Jesus Christ said, “I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:16).<br /><br />In the Bible we see that Saul was ordained as King by God over the Israelites. But he turned away from God and failed to do of what God had commanded him. He regretted making Saul as King. The Holy Spirit left Saul (1 Samuel 16:14). God chose David to be King over Israel. He says that David was a man after His own heart (Acts 13:22). Though David committed sin, he repented of it and sought the Lord’s forgiveness and pleaded Him not to take away the Holy Spirit from him. The Lord had mercy on David and forgave him (Psalm 51:11).<br /><br />The Eternal Spirit will guide us to be holy in this world and lead us to our Heavenly abode. God ordained the Eternal Spirit to lead the Israelites through the wilderness to the Promised Land (Canaan), a land flowing with milk and honey. He went before them as a cloud during the day and as a ball of fire at night. He was with them and guided them to Canaan and protected them from the pursuing Egyptians (Exodus 13:21). The Eternal Spirit will also guide us to live a holy life in this world and take us to Heavenly abode.<br /><br /><b>Prayer:<br /><br />Loving Heavenly Father,<br /><br />How loving and caring you are! Father, fill me with the Holy Spirit to enable me to live holy in this wicked world. Give me a heart that seeks to do Your will. Teach me to live a life that pleases You. The world may despise you or look down upon you but do you know that you are very precious in the eyes of Lord Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ came down to the earth to lift you up in life.<br /><br />When Jesus Christ was in this world, He sought the poor people in adversity and helped them. One such person was Zacchaeus who was the chief collector and a rich man. The people called him a sinner. He had heard of Jesus and longed to see Him. His desire was soon fulfilled and Jesus Christ even spent a day with him in his house. He believed in Jesus Christ and was transformed into a righteous man (Luke 19:1-10).<br /><br />“Even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:22,23).<br /><br />Yes, beloved! Every man has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Whoever believes in Lord Jesus Christ, he/she shall be made righteous.<br /><br />There is a church called Lakewood church in Houston, U.S.A. Once, a church member brought an alcoholic to the church who gave his heart to the Lord and soon his life was transformed. Days later, the redeemed man gave a prayer request to the pastor’s wife. The prayer request read, “Madam, I lived my life like beastly brute, boozing and brawling all the time. My wife left me with our child in disgust. But the Lord has changed my life and I long for them, so please pray their return.”<br /><br />The pastor’s wife read this note to the congregation and solicited their prayers. Within moments, a woman with her child came running to the pulpit. It was none other than the man’s wife! This unanticipated miraculous re-union touched the hearts of the whole congregation. As the man, in ecstatic joy, embraced his wife and child, the whole church praised the Lord in joy.<br /><br />Beloved! Jesus Christ bore our grief and sorrows and became a curse for us on the cross. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us” (Galatians 3:13). He tasted death for everyone on the cross.<br /><br />Beloved! The Lord shall bless the home of the just (Proverbs 3:33). He will lift you up before the world. Though he encountered many trials and tribulations in his life for the Gospel, he did not quit running his race. He says, "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24).<br /><br />He further says in Philippians 2:16, “Holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or laboured in vain”<br /><br />Apostle Paul urges us to set the Lord Jesus before us and look unto Him always as He is the author and finisher of our faith.<br /><br />“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith …” (Hebrews 12:1,2)<br /><br />When I was young, the Lord spoke to me on my birthday through my father saying, “Son, I have placed before you two different paths. One path is like that of a fish and the other is like that of a crab. Fish swims in a straight direction. The crab always walks sideways. If you choose the path like that of the fish, I will bless you.”<br /><br />My mother raised me up in the fear of the Lord and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His sufferings for us on the cross. I was obedient to her till my school. But after I started doing college, I went far away from the Lord. I was living a crab like life in the eyes of the Lord. But my parents persisted in prayer for me. The Lord answered their prayers and gave me grace to choose a life that was straight (like that of a fish) before Him. As I have chosen to live a path like that of a fish (straight), God has exalted and honoured me in life.<br /><br />Dear friend, choose the path that is pleasing to God. He will protect and guard you. He was talking about the magnificent glory of God - the same glory that the nation of Israel experience in the wilderness and appeared as a cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night; the same glory that the high priest experienced in the Holy of Holies; the same glory that appeared to the shepherds keeping watch by the night the Lord Jesus was born; the same glory that came upon the Apostles in the Upper Room.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:85%;">This is the same glory that will be ours forever when we allow that glory to strengthen us.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:85%;">Now believe me, I'm no stranger to persecution. Sickness is a weapon of the devil to turn you away from God and to make you suffer in health. Jesus Christ was born into this world to destroy the works of the devil. The Bible says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).<br /><br />Lord Jesus Christ loves healing the sick. When you seek the Lord, He shall heal you from sickness and fill you with peace.<br /><br />“The Lord will strengthen him on the bed of his illness; he will sustain him on his sick bed” (Psalm 41:3).<br /><br />An American missionary went to Africa and shared the love of Christ to the people there. He worked hard day and night to give them education and eradicate sickness. Once, he became a victim of a terminal fever. His health started deteriorating day by day. Seeing his hopeless condition, the villagers made all arrangements for the last rites of this man and waited for him to die.<br /><br />When he was about to breathe his last, he heard a divine voice cursing the fever, “Stop! Go no further!” Instantly he was healed! He came out of his hut and the people were bewildered on seeing him whole. He told them that the Lord had healed him to their surprise and joy. They all glorified the Lord for healing him.<br /><br />Beloved! When you seek the Lord and follow Him, He will keep you far from sickness and keep you in perfect health.<br /><br /><b>Prayer:<br /><br />Loving Lord Jesus,<br /><br />I praise and thank You that it is Your will for me to be in perfect health. I was a lad then. When my father returned home from office, I would hug and kiss him. One day, when he came home after completing his day’s work, the house was filled with sandalwood fragrance. We tried to find out from where the fragrance was wafting up but we could not figure out from where it was emanating. As usual when I hugged my father and kissed him, I exclaimed that the sandalwood fragrance was wafting from his dress! He explained, “Son, I had been on an inspection to a factory that manufactured sandalwood oil. This factory had taken a loan from the State Bank of India and I had to verify whether the sandalwood and oil stock position and accounts were in order. For three hours I moved around in the factory inspecting, amidst the sweet smelling sandalwood and the fragrant oil that was extracted from it. That was why strong whiffs of sandalwood oil smell were wafting up from my dress.”<br /><br />Likewise, Lord Jesus Christ will be with us as a sweet smelling fragrance in our lives. The Lord promises us to be with us even to the end. We will carry the sweet fragrance of the Lord to others.<br /><br />Our Loving Lord Jesus Christ promises us, "I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). In John 16:33, the Lord says, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (the tribulations).”<br /><br />He will be with us and give us grace to overcome the problems in life. He will fill us with joy and peace. Our future will be bright and beautiful with peace. Jesus Christ says, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him” (John 14:23).<br /><br />Ms. Tucker, a lady in the U.S.A. was sentenced to death for killing two persons. She fought for ten long years to get this sentence reversed. During her imprisonment she came to know that the Lord forgave people when they repented wholeheartedly. This was like honey to her because she was filled with remorse for her sins. She cried out to Him in tears to forgive her. The Lord forgave her and cleansed her with His precious blood, filled her with His exceeding joy. When the time for her execution drew near, newspaper reporters asked her, “What is your last wish?” She replied cheerfully, “I want to go to heaven and see my Lord Jesus. I would be happy and grateful if people forgave me of the crimes that I have committed against them. This is my last wish.”<br /><br />She did not fear death but her face radiated the peace of the Lord. It was because the Lord did not despise her contrite spirit but forgave her and filled her with exceeding joy.<br /><br />Beloved! Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself on the cross for our sins. He was buried and rose up on the third day. He is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for the people. When you invite Him into your heart, He will come in and comfort your broken heart. Soon, Saroyan received a reply to his telegram saying, “Have your head examined!” He was puzzled and deeply hurt by those words because he (Saroyan ) expected that his relative would help him in his financial distress. As he began to ponder over those words, he understood the meaning the words conveyed in the reply. His relative meant, “You do not need any loan; use your brain and you will get a solution". Saroyan took it as a challenge and wrote a story out of his imagination and published it. Soon, he became rich and famous.<br /><br />When we cling to the Lord firmly, He will strengthen us in our times of pain and agony. Everything works for good for those who love Him. The Bible says that the books of the world would not be enough to record the miracles of Jesus Christ which He performed during His three and half years of glorious ministry on the earth.<br /><br />In Luke 5:1-10, we see that Jesus Christ was preaching to the crowd sitting in the boat of Simon Peter. Peter and few of the fishermen were washing their nets disappointed at having caught nothing. Jesus Christ saw their anguish and said, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch" (Luke 5:4). When Peter obeyed His word and did as He had said, he caught a great number of fish that the nets were at the point of breaking! Simon Peter was awestruck by the miracle!<br /><br />Years ago, a Servant of God celebrated his daughter’s wedding in a grand manner. I attended the wedding with my family. Later, he shared with me the miracle that the Lord did at the wedding. The Servant of God said that he had invited around 1,000 guests for the wedding and expected around 1,500 guests to turn up for the wedding. The wedding feast was prepared for 1,500. But around 2,000 had turned up. After felicitating the couple, the guests took part in the wedding feast. He was quiet puzzled of how to tackle the situation. But to his amazement, all of them were able to enjoy the wedding feast. The Lord did a miracle in his daughter’s wedding and did not put him to embarrassment by shortage of the food in the feast.<br /><br />When Jesus Christ lived in this world, He performed His first miracle at a wedding feast in Cana. When there was a shortage of the wine, He turned the water into wine and manifested His glory (John 2:11). The Bible says that Jesus Christ came into this world to give you life and set you free from the thief who would come to steal and destroy (John 10:10). The good news is that Jesus Christ is alive and death has no power over Him. He presented Himself alive to the Apostles and spoke to them things pertaining to the Kingdom of God (Acts 1:3). The Risen Lord Who performed miracles through the Apostles to show that He was alive will also do miracles when you are in distress. So, do not be disheartened! The Risen Lord is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you. He will do miracles in your life to show that He loves you.<br /><br /><b>Prayer:<br /><br />Loving Lord Jesus,<br /><br />I praise You for conquering death and that You are alive forever. God moved by their cries, sends them a judge to redeem them. This judge would come as a mighty man and deliver them from their oppressors.<br /><br />"And when the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who oppressed them and harassed them". (Judges 2:18)<br /><br />In the same way, the Israelites anticipated the arrival of such a Saviour. The angel of the Lord said, "a Saviour is born". He also informed, "You shall call Him Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). The same is said by St. Paul in I Timothy 1:15, "...Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners".<br /><br />The qualities of a Redeemer as expected by the Jews in those days was not found in the One (Jesus Christ) Who appeared before them being born in the form of a man. They expected a Saviour who would fight against the Roman empire. On the contrary, Jesus came into this world with the purpose of saving mankind from their sins, from the power of the devil and the snares of the lust of the flesh which destroys man's life.<br /><br />Many years ago, there was a lady named Florence Nightingale who lived in England. She proved to be an exemplary nurse. A great battle took place in Russia, at 'Crimea' and at the end of the war, great many Russian soldiers were seriously wounded and were in great agony. In this juncture, Florence extended her helping hand when no one came forward to do so. The United Kingdom also sent her whole-heartedly for carrying out this noble task. She worked relentlessly offering medical aid to those wounded soldiers and also cared for them. All these acts of compassion moved many souls and they were drawn by her gesture born out of sacrifice. Everyday at about eleven o' clock, after finishing her work she visited each and every soldier with a lamp in her hand. She made sure that everyone slept well and always checked whether any other assistance was required. Only after confirming that everything was fine she would retire to bed. Therefore, people affectionately called her 'the lady with the lamp' and adored her as the 'unforgettable mother'.<br /><br />Our Lord Jesus Christ too came to this world to serve the mankind. He came to save sinners for He wanted everyone to be liberated, redeemed and sanctified. He wished that none should perish but everyone should enjoy the everlasting life.<br /><br />Dear friend, let us be thankful to this wonderful Saviour. It will also be a time of mass travel and large movements of immigrants: “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase” (Daniel 12:4).<br /><br />The Bible clearly reveals that Noah’s day was characterized by rampant sin and violence: “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.… And God said to Noah, ‘The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth’” (Genesis 6:5, 13).<br />The Apostle Paul was also inspired by God to look into the future to describe the last days as “perilous times”—times of crass materialism, moral degradation and a false spirituality that denies the power of the true God of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:1–5). When I think again of the abundance that He so desires to bestow on His obedient children, I am humbled in the presence of such great love.</p> <p>I know that like me you long to experience the fullness of His love. Otherwise you wouldn't have put in the time and effort to follow me on this journey to learn about the Father's desire to bring prosperity into our lives.</p> <p>Yet perhaps you may be struggling deep inside. As much as you want to obey the Lord in the area of biblical giving, you just can't see how it's possible. Or you know, as I do, that with God nothing is impossible, but you don't know where to begin. God has called me to preach His glorious Word, and I want to do something that is a little bit different for me. I want to give you very concrete suggestions about how you can start on the biblical road to blessing. It is an old saying but a true one that a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. In a nutshell, here is how to get on the biblical road to blessing:</p> <ul><li><p>Remember you're not alone - God will help you succeed.</p> </li><li><p>Surrender to God's love - you will see His results when you live His way.</p> </li><li><p>Give to God first - remembering His goodness.</p> </li><li><p>Work hard - remembering you work for Him.</p> </li><li><p>Provide for your own family members - remembering that god has given them to you.</p> </li><li><p>Make a budget - remembering the Lord will give you power over satan's strategies.</p> </li><li><p>Provide for others - remembering the best investment is for eternity.</p> </li></ul> <p>Managing your money is never easy, which is why I'm so thankful that I don't have to rely on my own strength, insight, and willpower in the area of finances. Regardless of my past track record, God's Word is still the same: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Phil. 4:13) That's right, today, right now, the power of the Savior is available to us when we make the courageous choice to do His will.</p> <p><span class="article_pullquote">In partnership with the Master, you cannot fail!</span>Now when I say this, I don't mean that doing His will in the area of finances will be easy. Indeed, you may even find yourself in a circumstance that appears in the natural to be absolutely impossible. This is exactly the situation the Lord delights in. When you put your trust in God alone, everything is possible with God. In partnership with the Master, you cannot fail!</p> <p>My friend, the biblical road to blessing is a relationship, not a technique. It's not so much a way of living as it is a way of loving. And the highest form of loving the Father is surrender, and surrender manifests itself in obedience.</p> <p>The Lord Jesus cautions us in Luke 12:15, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses." Yet you and I are bombarded by messages that our lives do consist in the abundance of things, and that we will be happier with just a little more. It's no wonder that someone has quipped, "If we had our lives to live over again...we'd need more money!"</p> <p>Because of all these factors, the words of Jesus aren't merely a parable on the human condition, they are a commentary on the current state: "Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful." (Mark 4:18-19)</p> I declare to you in the name of the Lord that you can be completely and permanently set free in a moment if you will let the Holy Spirit have His way. We were born into this world to do the will of the Father. An exemplary example of a person who did the will of the Father was Jesus Christ. He was the Son of God who came into this world to do the will of the Father to redeem mankind from sin. Jesus Christ said, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.” “I have come to do my Father’s will” (John 4:34; John 6:38).<br /><br />Doing the Father’s will was food and drink to Jesus Christ. Even when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane before being betrayed to be crucified, He was travailing in prayer. The mental agony was too much to bear. He poured out His agony to the Father and said, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will" (Matthew 26: 39).<br /><br />Though He knew pretty well the great sufferings and humiliation He would go through and that the Father would certainly remove the cup if He asked for it, He (Jesus) resolved to do the will of the Father. In John 19:30, the Bible says that Jesus Christ was hanging on the cross in excruciating agony and pain and was bleeding. He took our sufferings on the cross and His last words, “It is finished!” reveal satisfaction in fulfilling the will of God. Father God honoured Jesus Christ for fulfilling His will by exalting His (the name of Jesus) name in Heaven and earth.<br /><br />Similarly, when we fulfill the will of the Father, He will honour and exalt us before the angels in Heaven as well as before the people on earth.<br /><br />In the Bible we see that Paul had a divine encounter with the Lord on his way to Damascus and he asked Him, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” The Lord instructed him what had to be done and Paul knew the divine plan that he would have to suffer for the sake of the Gospel. He zealously fulfilled the will of God. That was why he was able to say, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).<br /><br />Dear friend, the Lord urges us to do the will of God. “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Romans 14:17).<br /><br />When we do the will of God, God will honour and exalt us. Peace, joy and blessings will abound in our lives.<br /><br /><b>Prayer:<br /><br />Loving Heavenly Father,<br /><br />Help me to do Your will. Father, You sent Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ to this world to set us free from sin. You used Apostle Paul to spread the Gospel to the early churches and used him to speak to us through Your word. Our Lord Jesus Christ is a God of compassion. When He lived on this earth, He was moved with compassion on seeing the sick and the demon possessed and did a miracle for them. The following verses show the compassion of Jesus Christ;<br /><br />“But when He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd” (Matthew 9:36; Mark 6:34).<br /><br />“And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick” (Matthew 14:14).<br /><br />Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion on the multitude…..” (Matthew 15:32).<br /><br />“So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes…..” (Matthew 20:34).<br /><br />And Jesus, moved with compassion, put out His hand and touched him (Leper), and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed” (Mark 1:41).<br /><br />Lord Jesus Christ wants us to be compassionate toward others in this world. He illustrates it in a parable as, “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion on him and went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, “Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you” (Luke 10:30-35).<br /><br />In this parable, we see that the traveller was beaten up by a gang of thieves and was abandoned on the road half-dead. Many people passed by him including a priest who did not care to help him. But a Samaritan, an ordinary man took compassion on the traveller when he (Samaritan) passed the wounded man that way. Because of his compassion, he attended to the wounded man. The Samaritan took the wounded man on his animal to an inn and paid the inn keeper to take care of him till he got well.<br /><br />Beloved! When we are compassionate toward others, people will come to know of the compassion of God. The Lord Who is watching us from Heaven will be very pleased with us and shall be more compassionate toward us. The compassion of the Lord will open the way to miracles in our lives.<br /><br /><b>Prayer:<br /><br />Loving Lord Jesus,<br /><br />I thank and praise You for Your love. Because You love me, You are compassionate toward me and whenever I look up to You, You answer me in Your compassion. I thank and praise You for it. Many times we face circumstances that shatter our hearts and lament over them. But we have a God Who is there to comfort and console our broken hearts.<br /><br />Many years ago a gentleman came to me and, holding my hands, said, “Brother, while delivering God’s message, I have seen you often mentioning your daughter’s death in a car accident and weeping over her loss. I found it ridiculous because every one born in this world would have to die some day. I would say that he could see his daughter when he gets to heaven. Does he not have that much of faith?<br /><br />Days passed by. One day, my sixteen year old son fell sick and became unconscious. We rushed him to a hospital where the treatment administered was in vain. He remained unconscious for many days and when one day he opened his eyes and asked me to hold him close to my bosom. I held him close to my bosom and very soon my darling son breathed his last leaning on my bosom! I was shattered! My son’s last words keep ringing in my ears and breathing his last on my bosom are fresh in my memory. Only then I realised your agony of losing darling daughter. Only you can understand my broken heart. I have come to you to pray for me that God should strengthen me to bear this great loss.” I prayed for him in tears because I could understand his pain and agony he was going through.<br /><br />It was the will of the Father that His son Jesus Christ should traverse the painful path (Isaiah 53:10) to understand our pain and agony in this world. Jesus Christ came in this world to do the will of the Father (Hebrews 10:7,9).<br /><br />Beloved! Jesus Christ was broken to understand our pain and agony. He gave Himself on the cross for us. He is waiting to comfort our broken hearts. Let us take our burdens and sorrows to Him. He will understand and comfort our broken hearts.<br /><br /><b>Prayer:<br /><br />Loving Lord Jesus,<br /><br />I praise and thank You that You were obedient to the Father’s will knowing You will be crushed to understand my pain and agony in this world. Strengthen me not to crumble in circumstances that cause agony. Give me grace to stay strong. Use me to bring comfort to other people who are traversing the path of pain and agony. While I was listening to him, I felt strongly that I needed to teach on the seven blessings of the tithe, too, for like Pat Robertson, I believe the tithe is very important to the Lord Jesus.</p> <p>First of all, Malachi 3:10 teaches: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the L<span style="font-variant: small-caps;">ord</span> of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”</p> <p>Then the Lord promises, “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the L<span style="font-variant: small-caps;">ord</span> of hosts” (verse 11).</p> <p><strong>SEVEN PROMISES</strong><br />In the next verse, the Lord gives us this most remarkable promise: “And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the L<span style="font-variant: small-caps;">ord</span> of hosts” (verse 12). In this noteworthy portion of Scripture, we find the Lord’s command to bring “all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house.” The Lord clearly tells every believer that the tithe belongs to Him and His work.</p> <p>The Lord even challenges us to test Him: “Prove me now herewith” (verse 10). This is the only time in Scripture that the Lord makes that offer. That is one of the most amazing invitations we have ever been given by the Lord Himself; that we, as God’s people, can prove Him in this matter.</p> <p>Following His challenge in Malachi 3:10, He then begins to give us the seven most amazing blessings of the tithe:</p> <ul><li><strong>“If I will not open you the windows of heaven”</strong> (verse 10). The windows of heaven always deal with revival. The Lord promises to revive every person who obeys Him.<br /><br /></li><li><strong>“And pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”</strong> (verse 10). Think about it! God Almighty declares clearly in His Word that the tither will be prosperous—so prosperous, in fact, that there will not be room enough to receive the prosperity and blessings God has in store for the one who obeys Him.<br /><br /></li><li><strong>“I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes”</strong> (verse 11). Years ago when I taught on this subject in Orlando, I discovered that <em>rebuke</em>, to my amazement, means “to cripple” or “to paralyze.” God Almighty will actually cripple the enemy on your behalf when you tithe. The tithe is so important to the Lord that He promises to paralyze and cripple the enemy so that he will not be able to touch your life! Remember, the Lord said to prove Him. These things will happen, for this is the Word of the Lord!<br /><br /></li><li><strong>“He shall not destroy the fruits of your ground”</strong> (verse 11). This means that the enemy, whom God has crippled on your behalf, will not be able to touch your finances. The “fruits of your ground” refers to your money. The enemy will not be able to touch your money as a result of your obedience to the Lord in the tithe.<br /><br /></li><li><strong>“Neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the L<span style="font-variant: small-caps;">ord</span></strong><strong>of hosts”</strong> (verse 11). It is remarkable that in John 15:5, Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches.” The vine, therefore, means the family, and God gives this amazing promise to the tither when He says that the enemy will not touch your family, if you obey the Lord.<br /><br /></li><li><strong>“All nations shall call you blessed”</strong> (verse 12). In this most amazing blessing and promise, God will bless and prosper you so that the nations of the world will see the blessings of God upon you. In other words, you will be a mighty witness of the power and blessings of God.<br /><br /></li><li><strong>“Ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the L<span style="font-variant: small-caps;">ord</span> of hosts”</strong> (verse 12). <em>Delightsome</em> means “highly desired.” As you obey the Lord with the tithe, God will so highly desire you that He will use you.</li></ul> <p>These seven most amazing blessings of the tithe can be summarized:</p> <p><img style="margin: 5px;" alt="" src="http://www.bennyhinn.org/images/email_SeenBlessings1007_2.JPG" align="left" /></p> <div style="margin-left: 185px;"><ul><li>You will have revival.</li><li>You will experience great prosperity.</li><li>The enemy will be crippled and will not touch your life.</li><li>Your finances will be safe.</li><li>Your family will be safe from the hand of the enemy.</li><li>You will be a great witness of the power and blessings of the Lord to the nations.</li><li>You will be highly desired, and God will use you for His glory!</li></ul> </div><p><strong>THE STOREHOUSE</strong><br />Before giving these seven blessings in Malachi 3, the Lord very clearly mentions the tithes and offerings in verse 8: “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings” (Malachi 3:8). Then He says, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse” (verse 10).</p> <p>The “storehouse” is not your local church! Many years ago, I taught that the storehouse was the local church. As I have continued to study the Word, travel the world, and mature in the Lord, I have come to realize that the storehouse is not the local building but the ministry that feeds your life.</p> <p>Any ministry that feeds you the Word of God is that storehouse! The Word of God is clear on this, for He says, “Bring ye all the tithe into the storehouse.” The tithe belongs to the ministry that gives you fresh bread and the meat of God’s Word.</p> <p>As you support the storehouse that the Lord has placed into your life, the Lord has promised to send these seven supernatural blessings upon your life!</p> <p>If this ministry has been that storehouse for you, then it is the law of God that you should give your tithes and offerings to this ministry. In fact, according to the Word of God, you should support whatever ministry God uses to feed your life.</p> <p>I want to share an important truth with you. The Word of God is clear also in Deuteronomy 26 that the tithe does not belong to the dead. In the midst of teaching on the tithe, the Lord tells us, “Nor given ought thereof for the dead” (Deuteronomy 26:14). If you want to receive the seven supernatural blessings of the tithe, make sure you are not giving your tithe or offering to a dead work.</p> <p>If you give to a dead ministry, there will be no result! But when you give to a ministry that is alive and preaching the Gospel to the world, then these promises will be yours.</p> <p><strong>BREAKING DEBT FROM YOUR LIFE</strong><br />When I saw this powerful truth and began applying it in my own life—as I became a tither myself—God truly broke the debt from my life.</p> <p><img style="margin-right: 5px;" alt="" src="http://www.bennyhinn.org/images/email_SeenBlessings1007_3b.JPG" align="left" />Debt is broken by only one thing—giving to the Lord’s work!</p> <p>I want to see the Lord bless your life. It is your tithe that opens heaven, and it is your offering that brings prosperity your way. The Lord requires both, the tithe (at least 10 percent) and the offering (extra money that the Lord directs you to give). We cannot be blessed without the tithe, and we cannot see abundance without both the tithe and the offering.</p> <p>The Lord clearly states in His Word to give both tithes and offerings.</p> <p>Today, give both to the Lord. Sow your seed. Cheer up! Lord Jesus will deliver you from the hopeless circumstances and will give you victory over them. Jesus Christ came to earth to destroy the works of the devil and to redeem mankind from sin.<br /><br />Abraham Lincoln, the American President, was shot dead by a hard hearted person called John Wilkes Booth while he (the President) was watching a play. The whole world mourned over his death especially the black people because he delivered them from slavery. They were slaves and were treated in a ruthless manner by the white people who were their masters. When Abraham Lincoln became President, he took a vow, saying, "I will not allow the practice of slavery anymore." He abolished slavery despite strong opposition from the white people.<br /><br />When his body was being taken to be buried, thousands of people turned up to pay their last respects to the great man. A black woman, watching the cortege, was overwhelmed with emotion. She lifted her child and, with tears streaming down her cheeks, said, "Honey, have a last glimpse of the man who gave his life to liberate you from slavery!”<br /><br />Similarly, Jesus Christ gave His life on the cross to deliver mankind from sin by defeating the devil and his hosts at the cross. The Lord says in John 16:33, "... I have overcome the world." He also says, "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore" (Revelation 1:18).<br /><br />There is hope to all who believe in the Lord. The Lord shall deliver you from your hopeless circumstances and enable you to overcome the world as He did when He was in this world. The Bible says, “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).<br /><br />Commit your life into His hands for He will cause it to prosper. The Lord promises you saying, "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (John 14:14). He has authority in heaven and the earth and will deliver you from your bondages and shall fill your life with blessings and make you happy.<br /><br /><b>Prayer:<br /><br />Loving Lord Jesus,<br /><br />I praise You for defeating the devil and his hosts at the cross and liberating mankind from sin. Giving to the Lord is so important that God has promised that those who give for the work of the Gospel will be blessed and protected.</p> <p>Today I want to share with you what the Scriptures have to say about biblical prosperity, because I believe we are coming into a time of great abundance for the sake of the Gospel. The Gospel is being preached around the world, and a great harvest of blessings is coming to those who are supporting the cause of Christ around the world.</p> <p><b>Prosperity Results from Righteousness and Faithfulness</b></p> <p>The Word of God declares: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2). Prosperity is not an accident but the result of the Word of God being in our life.</p> <p>Righteousness puts us in line to receive great blessings from the Lord: “In the house of the righteous is much treasure” (Proverbs 15:6), and “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life” (Proverbs 22:4).</p> <p>Faithfulness to God is the key to prosperity, and only faithfulness brings us into that place where God can begin to bless us financially: “A faithful man shall abound with blessings” (Proverbs 28:20).</p> <p>The Lord has given each person certain abilities and gifts, and He expects us to be faithful with them. He expects us to tend to and nurture these abilities and gifts so we might produce fruit for His glory and kingdom!</p> <p>The Word of the Lord tells us clearly that only as we keep and nurture our gifts will we be able to reap their benefits: “Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured” (Proverbs 27:18). As we stay faithful with the gifts God has given us, we will receive fruit in abundance.</p> <p><b>Prosperity Results from Obedience</b></p> <p>To receive God’s blessings and abundance, we must obey Him!</p> <p>The Word of God tells us, “Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do” (Deuteronomy 29:9).</p> <p>The Scriptures clearly say that it is not God’s will for any to perish, nor is it His will for any to live in sickness or poverty.</p> <p>Poverty comes when we refuse the Word of God. Proverbs 13:18 declares, “Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.”</p> <p>But when we obey the Lord’s Word, prosperity will be ours immediately, and for all of our days: “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures” (Job 36:11).</p> <p>The Word of God says clearly in Proverbs 15:6 that in the house of the righteous is much treasure, not much poverty! Poverty does not belong to the righteous. It belongs to those who disobey God. Abundance and blessings belong to God’s children.</p> <p>Debt is not God’s will. In fact, it is bondage: “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender” (Proverbs 22:7).</p> <p>The Lord wants to deliver His people from all bondage and all debt, and only as God’s people seek Him and obey Him will liberty from bondage come our way: “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.… That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures” (Proverbs 8:17-18, 21).</p> <p>God’s Word is clear that He takes pleasure in our prosperity! He rejoices when we prosper: “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant” (Psalm 35:27).</p><b>The Reason for Biblical Prosperity</b> <p>The reason for biblical prosperity is clear: the Gospel must be preached! This is why a wealth transfer is coming.</p> <p>From Genesis to Revelation, the principles are taught.</p> <p>The Lord said to Abraham, “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2).</p> <p>God surely wants to bless you and make you a blessing to others. To finance the coming harvest, God is looking for a people whom He will bless, for the coming harvest is the winning of the lost around the world. Surely, it is on the way, and God is preparing all of us for that glorious day.</p> <p>I know that the most glorious harvest of God is just around the corner, and He is preparing you and me for a glorious move! I also know that the Lord is preparing us for the most incredible move of the Holy Spirit!</p> <p>Remember, everything you do today for the Lord will affect what God will do with you when that day of wealth transfer begins: “If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?” (Luke 16:11). I believe that God Almighty is watching everything we do for Him today to see if He can trust us when that blessed move begins!</p> <p>For truly how can God trust those who are not faithful with His glorious power and anointing—the invisible—unless He can trust them first with the visible?</p> <p>The Lord is watching everything we do for Him today. He is looking for a people He can trust, for the day will come when true riches will be committed to believers who are faithful. These true riches not only are the invisible power of God but also the coming wealth transfer on earth that will finance the end-time harvest!</p> <p>That is why our Lord Jesus said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you” (Luke 6:38). Not only will it will be given now, but I believe He also means that it will be given on that day, and “it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.”</p> <p><b>What You Do Today Will Count Toward Tomorrow</b></p> <p>Paul the apostle declared, “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6), not only presently, but also on that day when the wealth transfer begins!</p> <p>God Almighty will give us accordingly to the measure we sow today. That is why Jesus said, “For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).</p> <p>What we do today will count toward what happens tomorrow, in the future, and on that day when that wealth transfer starts!</p> <p>So give today faithfully. Give today with obedience. Give today with all your heart, with a cheerful heart. And God has promised not only to take care of you today and tomorrow, but also to trust you one day with the wealth of the sinner.</p> <p>Remember as you sow your seed, God’s promise: “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread” (Psalm 37:25). You will never lack—no, not for one minute—because you have been giving and continue to give to the work of the Gospel.</p> <p>The glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached because of faithfulness of God’s people.</p> <p><b>Biblical Prosperity and You</b></p> <p>Divine prosperity is God’s will for every believer!</p> <p>Now it is time that we as believers obey the Lord, and even ask Him for prosperity. Like David we, too, can pray: “Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity” (Psalm 118:25).</p> <p>It also is time that we sow for prosperity: “Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine” (Proverbs 3:9-10).</p> <p>God wants us to prosper because the nations are calling and God continues opening doors. We must respond now before it is too late! As God orchestrates our steps with divine perfection and sends a powerful financial outpouring, we must go forward as a mighty army, obeying the Lord’s command to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).</p> <p>Now, more than ever, we must preach the Gospel to all the world, for Jesus said, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14). That time is now!</p> <p>May God bless you and the seed you plant in obedience to His Word, for He promises, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).</p> <p>Prosperity is biblical. Prosperity is God’s will.
